client access and plan stewardship

Option 1: Pay-As-You-Go Updates

Some clients prefer to reach out only when something changes. When that happens:

  • we scope the work in advance

  • confirm fees before starting and,

  • handle updates as needed

This approach works well for clients who expect infrequent changes.

Option 2: Danneil Lawscription - Client Access & Plan Stewardship

Other clients prefer ongoing access and support. The Lawscription is an annual access option designed to:

  • give you a place for questions as life evolves

  • help spot issues before they become problems

  • reduce the likelihood of probate caused by overlooked details

This approach works well for clients who expect infrequent changes.

WHAT’S INCLUDED:

  • Reasonable email and phone questions related to your existing plan

  • Annual outreach to see whether a review may be helpful

  • Coordination with advisors on plan-related questions

  • Priority scheduling

  • Reduced flat fees for updates and restatement

WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED:

  • New or advanced planning strategies

  • Medicaid or asset protection planning

  • Business planning or handling

  • Tax restructuring

  • Extensive trust restatements (handled separately at a reduced flat fee)

Creating an estate plan is an important step — but it isn’t a one-time event. Assets change. Beneficiaries drift. New accounts get opened. Most estate plans don’t fail because of bad drafting — they fail because no one is paying attention over time.

The Danneil Lawscription is designed for clients who want help keeping their plan tidy, coordinated, and effective as life evolves.

AFTER YOUR PLAN IS SIGNED

Every Danneil Law client receives a 90-day transition period after signing. During this time, questions, clarifications, and minor adjustments are expected and included as you begin living with your plan.

After that transition period, clients typically choose one of two approaches:

WHY ONGOING ACCESS MATTERS

Common issues we see include:

  • new accounts opened outside the trust

  • beneficiary designations added at a bank’s suggestion

  • retirement accounts moved without beneficiary updates

  • real estate purchased or LLCs created without plan coordination

These are not mistakes — they’re normal life events!

The Lawscription exists to help make sure those changes don’t quietly undermine your plan.

WHICH OPTION IS RIGHT FOR YOU?

There is no single “right” answer.

Some clients value ongoing access and choose the Lawscription. Others prefer to come back only when changes arise. Our goal is simply to make sure you understand your options — and never feel unsure about when or how to reach out.
